NBA Player Updates 12/11: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
December 11, 2015
The NBA schedule is bursting at the seams this evening; we’ve got 11 matchups to look forward to. In the meantime, let’s take our daily look at some of the stats and players in the news right now.
Nets-Sixers: Andrea Bargnani put up a season-best performance last night against the Sixers, logging 23 points in a 100-91 Nets victory.
Thaddeus Young helped out with a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Brook Lopez got into foul trouble and was only able to play 19 minutes. He’d take three shots and score seven points.
The Nets have won six of their last seven home games; Philly is now 0-13 on the road.

Clippers-Bulls: The Bulls came into this one on a three-game losing streak, and they almost let things unravel down the stretch.
Chicago would hold on for an 83-80 win over the Clippers at United Center, with Pau Gasol scoring 24 points to lead the way. He made three 3-pointers, which is a career-high for him.
On the other side, Blake Griffin doubled up on 18 points and 11 rebounds, as did DeAndre Jordan, who had 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Hawks-Thunder: Last night in Oklahoma City, it was the Kevin Durant show. He put up a triple-double, finishing with 25 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the seventh triple-double of his career, and it helped the team secure a 107-94 victory over the Hawks.
Russell Westbrook posted 23 points and 10 assists. Interestingly enough, this was just the second time both Westbrook and Durant had at least 10 assists in the same game.
Kings-Knicks: Sacramento defended their home court against the visiting Knicks last night, eking out a 99-97 victory.
Rajon Rondo had 16 points and 12 assists, but all anyone will be talking about today is his first dunk of the season, which happened in the fourth quarter. He also had nine rebounds, narrowly missing another triple-double.
DeMarcus Cousins put up 27 points and 11 rebounds, while Carmelo Anthony had 23 points and 14 rebounds on the other side.
