The San Antonio Spurs play host to the Los Angeles Lakes tonight at the AT&T Center.
The Spurs have been predictable rolling through opponents to start the season, but after four straight wins, they fell to the Raptors by 97-94 on Wednesday. Manu Ginobili led the scoring with 17 points off the bench but no one else could really get going on offense as LaMarcus Aldridge had just 13 points while Kawhi Leonard added just seven. Turnovers really hurt the Spurs too as they could never find any rhythm on offense which had behind on the scoreboard for almost the entire game. Despite the loss, San Antonio is still 18-5 on the season and 7-5 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Lakers still have just three wins on the season as they've lost four straight and are coming off a 123-122 loss at Minnesota. Julis Randle had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds, Louis Williams had 19 points but it was the rookie, D'Angelo Russell who scored 23 points off the bench but missed an opportunity to win the game late. Interestingly, Kobe Bryant was actually sitting on the bench in the clutch moments of the game which is something noteworthy. Los Angeles is now 3-19 overall and 2-13 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Lakers are 8-17 ATS in their last 25 games overall and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 road games, while the Spurs are 11-1 ATS in their last 12 following a loss and 4-1 ATS in their last five against the Western Conference.
Head to head, the Lakers are 3-7-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings but the road team is 4-0-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
The Spurs are coming off a tough loss and are now lined up against one of the worst teams in the league. The Lakers didn't look too bad in their latest outing which was another loss, but I still think this one will be a blowout in favor of the Spurs.
