The NBA has a busy schedule ahead of us this evening, with 10 games on the way. While we’re getting set for those matchups, let’s visit our daily wrap-up and see who’s in the news this morning.
Suns-Timberwolves: Brandon Knight had an 0-of-12 shooting night this past week, but made up for it yesterday. He scored 25 points against the Timberwolves, including a career-high seven 3-pointers in the 108-101 win.
Knight had nine points in the fourth quarter; all of them came on 3-pointers.
The T-Wolves didn’t do much to help themselves; they had 25 turnovers on the game, including a whopping nine in the third quarter alone.
The Suns scored 43 points off those turnovers.

Heat-Grizzlies: The Heat were down by 16 last night and trailed for nearly the entirety of the second half. They still rallied to beat the Grizzlies 100-97 in Miami.
Dwyane Wade led the home team on a 11-0 run to end the game, with a key jumper rimming in with just under 22 seconds left.
Chris Bosh led the team with 22 points, while Gerald Green put up 16 of his own.
Jeff Green had 26 points for the Grizzlies, which was a season-high for him.
Raptors-Sixers: The Raptors recorded a victory over the Sixers last night, 96-76. DeMar DeRozan put up 25 points, with Luis Scola helping out on 22 poitns. It was Toronto’s fourth straight victory.
It was the sixth straight loss for Philly, starting slowly with a 16-8 edge for the visitors.
Jalil Okafor put up a double-double for the Sixers, logging 23 points and 14 rebounds. Robert Covington had 15 points and nine boards.
Jazz-Thunder: In perhaps the most dramatic matchup of last night’s slate, the Thunder took a 104-98 overtime victory over the Jazz in OKC.
Kevin Durant put up 31 points; he had just two points in the first half. The Thunder were down by 16 in this one but battled back to force the extra period.
Russell Westbrook aided the cause on a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. He also had five assists.
The Thunder have won nine straight at home against the Jazz. They’ve won five straight overall this year.
