The New Orleans Pelicans invade the Pepsi Center to battle the Denver Nuggets tonight.
The Pelicans are in need of a win as they've lost three of their last four and are coming off a 104-88 loss at Phoenix. Anthony Davis led the scoring with 16 points, Eric Gordon added 15 points while Jrue Holiday had 14 as the Pelicans fell behind by double digits early on against the Suns and never threatened to mount any sort of a comeback as they shot just 36 percent from the field while committing 21 turnovers. New Orleans is now 7-19 on the season and 2-13 on the road where they've lost six of their last seven.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets had won five of six and their last three straight before losing to the Jazz by 97-88 on Friday. Will Barton led the scoring with 16 points off the bench while Jameer Nelson had 15 points and Joffrey Lauvergne added 12 points and 13 rebounds but it wasn't enough to get past the Jazz as the Nuggets shot just 39 percent from the field. Emmanuel Mudiay missed his third straight game with an ankle injury and has been ruled out again for tonight's game.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 2-5 ATS in their last seven road games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall, while the Nuggets are 5-2-1 ATS in their last eight games overall and 2-5 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings and 1-6 ATS in the last seven meetings in Denver.
The Pelicans have been disappointing all season, especially on the road where they've been terrible lately, but they have a healthy squald so this is a game they really should win if they have any aspirations for making the playoffs this season.
