The Los Angeles Clippers and the Charlotte Hornets do battle at the Time Warner Cable Arena on Wednesday.

The Clippers will be going for a fourth straight win tonight after making light work of the Wizards in a 108-91 rout on Monday. Chris Paul led the offense with 23 points and seven assists while DeAndre Jordan added 15 points and 13 rebounds, but with Blake Griffin out, the Clippers needed someone else to step up and it was Jamal Crawford who scored a quick-fire 21 points on nine of 12 shooting off the bench. Griffin is expected to miss at least two weeks with a partially torn left quad tendon which will definitely test the Clippers, but they shot a healthy 53 percent against the Wizards to win easily and improve to 19-13 on the season and 9-7 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Hornets have lost five of their last eight overall but they'll be going for a third straight win after pulling away from the Lakers late in a 108-98 win at home on  Monday. Kemba Walker had a monster game of 38 points on 14 of 25 shooting and he had plenty of help as Cody Zeller chipped in with 16 points while Nicolas Batum added 15 points and 11 assists. With the win, Charlotte improves to 17-13 overall and 13-5 at home where they've won three of their last four.

In ATS trends, the Clippers are 3-1-1 ATS in their last five games following a win and 2-5-1 ATS in their last eight road games, while the Hornets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight against the NBA Pacific.

Head to head, the Clippers are 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall and 7-3-1 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Charlotte.

The Clippers looked great in their last game playing without Griffin, but the Hornets have been solid at home all season and should be able to cause the minor upset in this one behind the strength of Batum and Walker.
