The Washington Wizards invade the Air Canada Center to battle the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
The Wizards will be looking to atone for their poor effort in their last outing as they lost to the Clippers by 108-91, snapping their four-game win streak. John Wall had a nice game of 23 points and 11 assists while Otto Porter Jr added 21 points off the bench, but some porous defense meant that the Wizards were running uphill for most of the game as they allowed the Clippers to shoot out to a 34-20 lead after the first quarter. Bradley Beal was once again missing from the lineup with his leg injury and remains without a timetable for his return. Washington is now back below .500 with a record of 14-15 on the season and 7-8 at home.

Meanwhile, the Raptors were going for a third straight win on Monday, but instead fell to the Bulls by 104-97 despite a big night from Kyle Lowry who poured in 28 points. and nine assists. DeMar DeRozan added 19 points while Luis Scola had 13, but while the Raptors started well against the Bulls, their offense faded down the stretch against the elite defense of the Bulls. Toronto has now lost four of their last seven to drop to 19-13 on the season and 10-8 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Wizards are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Raptors are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall but 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss.
Head to head, the Wizards are 6-0 ATS in the last six meetings overall and 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Toronto.
The Wizards will be eager to make up for their ugly loss on Monday, but while the Raptors have been shaky lately, they've won five of their last six games at home which is enough for me to give them the nod here.
