The Detroit Pistons invade the Boston Garden to battle the Celtics tonight.
The Pistons will be going for their third win in four games tonight after making light work of the Magic in a 115-89 win on Monday. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope led the team with 21 points, Andre Drummond added 17 points while Reggie Jackson had 14 points and seven assists as the Pistons poured it on late to cruise past the Magic and win easily. With the win, Detroit improves to 19-16 overall and 12-5 at home where they've won three of their last four.

Meanwhile, the Celtics are coming off their fifth win in seven outings, beating the Nets by 103-94 on Monday thanks to a season-high 25 points from Jae Crowder. Isaiah Thomas added 19 points and seven assists while Evan Turner had 12 points as the Celtics jumped all over the Nets early and rode a double-digit lead from start to finish, taking full advantage of the Nets who were without their starting point guard in Jarett Jack. With the win, Boston improves to 19-15 on the season and 10-6 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last five against the Eastern Conference, while the Celtics are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last seven home games against a team with a road record below .400.
Head to head, the Pistons are 2-5-1 ATS in the last eight meetings and the over is 7-1 in the last eight meetings.
The Celtics played with a real sense of urgency in their last outing and it really paid off as they took control of the Nets early and never looked like losing. However, the Pistons will want to avenge their 99-93 loss to the Celtics back on Dec. 26 and I think they'll either get it or get very close to it, so I'm taking Detroit with the points.
