The Charlotte Hornets travel to the Smoothie King Center to take on the New Orleans Pelicans tonight.
The Hornets will be breathing a little sigh of relief after they snapped their seven-game losing streak with a 107-84 win on Wednesday. Kemba Walker has been struggling lately, but looked good on Wednesday as he led the team with 23 points on nine of 13 shooting while Cody Zeller and Jeremy Lin chipped in with 19 points each. Nicolas Batum still looked to be recovering from his toe injury but still managed to contribute with six points and 10 assists. Charlotte is now 18-20 on the season and 14-7 at home.

Meanwhile, the Pelicans were able to snap a four-game skid with a 109-97 win at Sacramento in their last outing. Anthony Davis passed the pre-game fitness test and looked good as he and Eric Gordon led the team with 24 points each while Ryan Anderson and Norris Cole had 18 points apiece as the Pelicans dominated the Kings for three quarters before easing off in the fourth. With the win, New Orleans improves to 12-26 on the season and 5-17 on the road.
