Thunder-Timberwolves: Russell Westbrook had a great bounce-back performance last night against the Timberwolves, posting a triple-double on 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. It was the 23rd triple-double of his career and his fourth of the season.
Kevin Durant helped out with 21 points, while Dion Waiters scored 20. It was the third straight win for the Thunder.
Heat-Nuggets: Speaking of triple-doubles, Hassan Whiteside of the Heat snagged one yesterday as well. He had 19 points 17 rebounds and a whopping 11 blocked shots, helping his team rally to a 98-95 victory.
Chris Bosh posted the tiebreaking jump shot with less than a minute left. He’d end up with 24 points in a game Dwyane Wade missed due to injury. Goran Dragic was also out with a strained calf.
Cavaliers-Rockets: The Cavaliers were finishing off the longest road trip of their season last night in Houston, and they completed the run in style.
Cleveland bagged a 91-77 victory over Houston, with Kyrie Irving leading the way on 23 points. LeBron James helped out with 19 of his own.
The Rockets didn’t have a whole lot of trouble here, as they were up by double-figures by halftime and 20 points in the third quarter.
