The Cleveland Cavaliers invade the Barclays Center to battle the Brooklyn Nets tonight.
The Cavaliers had won nine of 10 games and were feeling good after dominating the Rockets on the road, but their season hit a major speed bump on Monday when they lost to the Warriors by 132-98 at home. LeBron James led the team with just 16 points, JR Smith added 14 points before getting ejected and Matthew Dellavedova had 11 points off the bench as the Cavs were absolutely outplayed by the defending champs in every facet of the game. Kyrie Irving scored just eight points while Kevin Love finished with just three as Cavs suffered their worst loss of the season to fall to 28-11 on the season and 15-2 at home.

Meanwhile, the Nets have lost eight of their last nine games and are in danger of losing a fourth straight. In Monday's 112-100 loss to the Raptors, Brook Lopez led the way with 29 points while Joe Johnson added 22 points, but with the game tied at 98-98 with 6:11 left on the clock, it was the Raptors who pulled away with a game-winning 12-0 run. With the loss, Brooklyn falls to 11-31 on the season and 4-16 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Cavs are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games against a team with a losing record and 0-5 ATS in their last five games following a double digit loss, while the Nets are 1-4 ATS in their last five games following a double digit loss and 1-8 ATS in their last nine games overall.
The Nets have shown that they can hang with any team in the league but just like they did on Monday, they always seem to fall to pieces at the worst possible time. As for the Cavs, they will be eager to atone for their embarrassing loss in their last outing and I think they'll bounce back tonight with an easy win on the road.
