The Brooklyn Nets play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder tonight at the Barclays Center.
The Thunder will be gunning for an eighth straight win tonight after escaping Dallas with a 109-106 win over the Mavericks on Friday. Kevin Durant scored 24 points while Russell Westbrook had just 16 points, but the reserves came to play and combined for 47 points which was the difference in the end. The Thunder should have done a better job of closing out the game as they actually led by 15 points midway through the fourth quarter, but in the end they were left holding their breaths as Dirk Nowitzki and Chandler Parsons both missed on potential game-tying threes which would have forced overtime. With the win, Oklahoma City improves to 33-12 on the season and 12-7 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Nets are just looking for any sort of win as they've lost five straight and are coming off a 108-86 defeat to the Jazz. Bojan Bogdanovic was the leader scorer of the team with 14 points and he had next to no help as the Nets shot just 44 percent from the field while allowing the Jazz to shoot 57 percent. Brooklyn have now lost 10 of their last 11 games to fall to 11-33 on the season and 7-17 at home.
In ATS trends, the Thunder are 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 6-13 ATS on the road, while the Nets are 1-8-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall and 9-14 ATS at home this season.
The line looks a bit too hefty to be giving a road team, but the Thunder have been on a tear lately and should be too good for a Nets team coming off a fifth straight loss by double digits.
