The Cleveland Cavaliers play host to the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight at the Quicken Loans Arena.
The Cavaliers have won three of their last five games but after the firing of head coach David Blatt, the Cavs looked out of sorts in Saturday's 96-83 home loss to the Bulls. LeBron James led the way with 26 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, JR Smith added 18 points while Kevin Love had 14, but the Cavs just weren't themselves in their first game under new head coach, Tyronn Lue. With the loss, Cleveland falls to 30-12 on the season and 16-3 at home.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have lost 11 of their last 13 games but looked full of confidence in Saturday's 106-101 surprise win over the Grizzlies. Shabazz Muhammad led the scoring with 25 points off the bench, Andrew Wiggins added 19 points while Ricky Rubio had 15 points and 12 assists as the Wolves played an aggressive brand of basketball, getting to the line with regularity where they connected on 33 of 36 free throws. With the rare win, Minnesota improves to 14-31 on the season and 9-13 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Wolves are 8-19-1 ATS in their last 28 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, while the Cavs are 1-5-1 ATS in their last seven games following a loss and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five games following a double digit loss at home.
Head to head, the favorite is 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and the under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings in Cleveland.
The Cavaliers will be going through some growing pains under a new coach, but they should have no problem beating the Wolves given the talent on their roster. However, this feels like too many points to be giving to the Wolves, even as bad as they've been this season.
