NBA Player Updates 1/25: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More

We’re looking at a nice nine-game NBA schedule tonight, so there will be plenty of action to tune into around the league. In the meantime, let’s take our daily look at the headlines and key players out there.

Rockets-Mavericks: Yesterday’s early game featured a nice intrastate matchup between the Rockets and Mavericks. James Harden put up 23 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists for a triple-double here, helping his team to a 115-104 win at home.
Houston was down entering the fourth, but posted a 14-4 run to break the game open.
Chandler Parsons put up 31 points in the losing effort, which was a season-high for him.

Raptors-Clippers: The Raptors didn’t have a whole lot of trouble getting past the Clippers last night in Toronto. Kyle Lowry posted 21 points in the 112-94 victory, while Jonas Valanciunas logged 20 of his own. DeMar DeRozan put up 18 points in a solid effort from him.
The bench scoring from Toronto was 51-29 in their favor, shooting 57.6 percent overall. Terrence Ross was 5-of-7 from 3-point range and had 18 points.

Celtics-Sixers: Philly has been playing better lately, but they didn’t look like it last night against the visiting Celtics. Boston had little trouble in a 112-92 win, with Jae Crowder and Isaiah Thomas each posting 20 points.
Avery Bradley had 19 points here, and Marcus Smart put up 16 bench points. The Celtics have now won five of their last seven.
On the other side, Robert Covington put up 25 points in the loss.

Nets-Thunder: Last night in New York, the Nets got a surprise victory over the visiting Thunder.
Brook Lopez went off in this one, scoring 31 in a season-high effort. He also pulled down 10 rebounds in the 116-106 win, which snapped a seven-game win streak for OKC.
Kevin Durant had 32 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists here, but the Thunder never led. This game was delayed for four hours due to the blizzard conditions over the weekend.
