The Philadelphia 76ers invade The Palace tonight to take on the Detroit Pistons.
The 76ers have won three of their last five games and will be going for a second straight victory after beating the Suns by 113-103 last night. Ish Smith led the way with 20 points and nine assists, Robert Covington added 19 points while Nik Stauskas had 15 as the 76ers took full advantage of a shorthanded Suns team missing all three point guards on their roster. Philadelphia saw the opportunity for a cheap win and didn't hold back as they led by double digits for most of the game to win and improve to 7-39 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Pistons have split their last six games and are coming off a thrilling 95-92 win at Utah. Reggie Jackson scored a game-high 29 points, Ersan Ilyasova had 16 points while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Anthony Tolliver had 12 points each as the Pistons jumped out to an early double digit lead early on and did enough to just hang on in the end. With the hard-fought win, Detroit improves to 24-21 on the season and 10-14 on the road.
In ATS trends, the 76ers are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Pistons are 21-7-1 ATS in their last 29 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team below .400.
Head to head, the 76ers are 1-5 ATS in the last six meetings in Detroit and the home team is 8-3 ATS in the last 11 meetings overall.
The Sixers really did look good in the win over the Suns in their last outing, but the Pistons to win at home has been the trend in this matchup and I don't really see that changing tonight.
