The New York Knicks pay a visit to the Detroit Pistons tonight at The Palace.
The Knicks have lost six of their last seven games and are in danger of losing a third straight after falling to the Celtics by 97-89 on Tuesday. Arron Afflalo led the scoring with 18 points while Robin Lopez had 17 points and 13 rebounds, but the Knicks needed more from Carmelo Anthony who scored 16 points with 14 rebounds, but shot just four of 16 from the field. Despite shooting just 38 percent from the field as a team, the Knicks were always right in the game but turnovers really killed them, especially in the third quarter where they committed six. With the loss, New York falls to 23-28 on the season and 14-12 at home.

Meanwhile, the Pistons have lost three of their last four games and will be eager to bounce back from last night's 102-95 loss at Boston. Reggie Jackson led the offense with 17 points and seven assists while Ersan Ilyasova and Andre Drummond added 16 points each, but the Pistons were ice-cold in the first half and fell behind by 56-36 going into the break, leaving them too much ground to make up in the second half. With the loss, Detroit falls to 26-24 on the season and 11-16 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Knicks are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five against the Eastern Conference, while the Pistons are 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 home games and 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a losing record.
Head to head, the Knicks are 21-8 ATS in the last 29 meetings overall and 5-2 ATS in the last seven meetings in Detroit.
Neither team is coming into this game with much form to speak of, but the Pistons should have the edge at home where they're 15-8 with five wins in their last eight outings.
