The San Antonio Spurs pay a visit to the Dallas Mavericks tonight at the American Airlines Center.
The Spurs have won three of their last four games and will be gunning for a third straight win tonight after beating the Pelicans by 110-97 on Wednesday. LaMarcus Aldridge led way with a game-high 36 points on 12 of 20 shooting, Kawhi Leonard added 26 points while Danny Green had 16 as the Spurs shot 52 percent from the field and nine of 15 from the 3-point arc to beat the streaky Pelicans. Tim Duncan was once again missing from the lineup with a knee injury and has been ruled out of tonight's game.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks have lost five of their last eight games and are in danger of losing their third straight after falling to the Heat in a 93-90 thriller on Wednesday. Dirk Nowitzki had a big game of 28 points on 10 of 21 shooting, Chandler Parsons added 12 points while JJ Barea had 11, but with the game on the line, the Mavs just couldn't find a way to get the ball to Nowitzki who could have sent the game into overtime with a three. With the disappointing loss, Dallas falls to 28-24 on the season and 15-9 at home.
In ATS trends, the Spurs are 18-8 ATS in their last 26 games overall and 15-7 ATS in their last 22, while the Mavs are 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall and 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Spurs are 4-9 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall and 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings in Dallas.
The Spurs will once again be without Duncan in the paint, but they should have little trouble taking care of a Mavs team whose last three wins have come against the league's worst teams in the Suns, Nets and Lakers. Take San Antonio to get the win and cover in this one.
