NBA Player Updates 2/6: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
February 6, 2016
The NBA is back with another busy day of 10 games, starting early this evening. In the meantime, there are plenty of players and stats to check out in today’s wrap-up, so let’s see what’s going on out there.
Hawks-Pacers: Last night’s East showdown between the Hawks and the Pacers went well for the home team. Atlanta held on for a 102-96 win--their third straight--even though they gave up 19 offensive rebounds on the evening.
Paul Millsap had 24 points to lead the offensive charge, while Al Horford managed 21.
On the other side, Paul George had 31 points in the losing effort. Indiana has lost 17 of their last 19 games in Atlanta during the regular season.

Clippers-Magic: Who needs Blake Griffin? The Clippers continued to cruise last night with a 107-93 victory over the Magic in Orlando. Chris Paul logged 21 points and six assists, while DeAndre Jordan doubled up on 12 points and 18 rebounds. It was L.A.’s fifth win in the last six outings.
Lance Stephenson helped fend off an Orlando rally in the second half, logging nine straight points and hitting all six of his shots.
Grizzlies-Knicks: The Grizzlies have now won five straight games, thanks to a 91-85 victory last night over the struggling Knicks at the Garden.
Jeff Green logged 16 points in the win, and New York missed some key shots down the stretch.
Matt Barnes had 12 points, while Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol each registered 10.
The Knicks have lost eight of their last nine games.
Celtics-Cavaliers: This was a stellar game to watch (unless you’re a Cavs fan), as it had all sorts of late drama.
Avery Bradley nailed a 3-pointer as time expired to give the Celtics a 104-103 victory over the Cavs in Cleveland. It was Boston’s eighth win in their last nine.
The Celtics blew a seven-point lead over the last three minutes, and were down by four with just seven seconds left. A series of fortunate fouls, bounces and made shots helped them steal the victory.
