The San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat do battle at the AmericanAirlines Arena tonight.
The Spurs continue to roll through opponents on a nightly basis, but against the unpredictable Lakers on Saturday, the Spurs found themselves in a real battle in which they escaped with a 106-102 win at home. With Tim Duncan still injured, LaMarcus Aldridge continued his hot streak with a game-high 26 points, Kawhi Leonard added 20 points while Tony Parker had 14 as the Spurs held off the pesky Lakers to stay undefeated at home and improve to 43-8 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Heat have won six of their last eight games but are coming off a disappointing 100-93 loss to the streaking Clippers. Chris Bosh, Goran Dragic and Dwyane Wade all finished with 17 points each while Luol Deng had 15 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome a Clippers team still missing a key player in Blake Griffin. Hassan Whiteside looked to be ready to fill the box score, but played just 17 minutes as the team looks to ease him back into his usual minutes.
In ATS trends, the Spurs are 19-9 ATS in their last 28 games overall and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games against a team with a home record above .600, while the Heat are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last four games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the Spurs are 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings overall and the under is 15-6 in the last 21 meetings in Miami.
The Spurs had won three straight games by double digits before sneaking past the Lakers on Saturday, but I can see them getting back to blowout out teams as the Heat are more than capable of pulling off the upset at home, but there's just no backing against these Spurs in this type of form.
