The Charlotte Hornets invade the Quicken Loans Arena to battle the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight.

The Hornets have won seven of their last eight games and will be gunning for a sixth straight win after beating the Nets by 104-96 in the team's last outing. Kemba Walker led the way with 28 points on 11 of 18 shooting, Nicolas Batum added 16 points and eight assists while Al Jefferson added 18 points off the bench as the Hornets made light work of the slumping Nets. With the win, Charlotte improves to 29-26 overall and 10-17 on the road where they've won their last four games.

Meanwhile, the Cavaliers were looking to build on a five-game win streak after crushing the Thunder by 115-92 on Sunday, but they ran into the Pistons on Monday and lost by 96-88 in a letdown performance. Kyrie Irving had a strong outing of 30 points on 11 of 21 shoitng while Kevin Love added 24 points, but LeBron James was uncharacteristically poor for the Cavs, finishing with just 12 points on five of 18 shooting while turning the ball over six times. With the loss, Cleveland falls to 40-15 on the season and 23-5 at home.

In ATS trends, the Hornets are 4-0 ATS in their last four road games and 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall, while the Cavs are 1-3-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a winning record and 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games following a loss.

Head to head, the Hornets are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the under is 7-2 in the last nine meetings overall.

These two teams have split two meetings this season with the Hornets taking the last meeting, a 106-97 win on Feb 3 despite Walker sitting out with a sore left knee. I expect the Cavs to bounce back and win this one but I think the Hornets with the points is the right play in what should be a competitive contest.
