Marcus Smart led the way with 15 points and six rebounds here, while Jae Crowder scored 14. Jared Sullinger doubled up on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
An even half-dozen Celtics were in double-digits.

Pelicans-Timberwolves: This game turned into a real nail-biter, as the Timberwolves bagged a road victory 112-110 in New Orleans. Karl-Anthony Towns posted 30 points and 15 rebounds to lead Minnesota to a rare comeback win on the road, while Andrew Wiggins nailed a pair of free throws late to seal the victory.
Zach LaVine was great here as well, with 25 points on a nice 11-of-17 shooting. He nailed a 3-pointer with 2:43 left to give the T-Wolves their first lead since the opening quarter.
Spurs-Rockets: Out west in Houston, the Spurs got past their intrastate rival Rockets 104-94, thanks to 27 points from Kawhi Leonard. LaMarcus Aldridge snagged 26.
This was the Spurs’ 50th win of the year; they’ve extended their NBA record to 17 straight seasons with that total.
It was the fifth straight victory for San Antonio, who are 50-9 on the season. They’ve got a double-digit lead in the division.
Warriors-Thunder: Last night’s marquis matchup featured the defending champion Warriors going against the Thunder.
Stephen Curry hit the game-winning 3-pointer here from way outside, and Golden State prevailed 121-118 in Oklahoma City. He would finish with 46 points. He tied the NBA single-game record with 12 threes.
The Warriors now have the best 58-game start in history at 53-5.
