NBA Player Updates 3/3: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
March 3, 2016
The NBA is calming down again tonight after a busy evening, with just four games on the schedule. There’s still plenty to talk about in our daily wrap-up, however, so let’s check out some of the key stats and headlines.
Bulls-Magic: Last night in Orlando, the Bulls were no match for the Magic, as the home team cruised to a 102-89 victory.
Nikola Vucevic scored 24 points here, and rookie Mario Hezonja posted a career-high 21. Aaron Gordon doubled up on 13 points and 13 rebounds.
The Magic were up by double-digits for the entire second half, and led 60-50 at the break. Chicago played pretty lethargically the entire game and simply looked overmatched.

Blazers-Celtics: Two of the league’s hottest teams clashed last night in Boston, and the Celtics came out on top of this one 116-93 for their 12th straight home win.
Isaiah Thomas put up 30 points here, while Avery Bradley added 17 points. The team has won four in a row overall.
Six Celtics were in double-digits here, as the team outscored the Blazers 60-34 in the paint. They posted only five turnovers.
Lakers-Nuggets: The Kobe Bryant farewell tour made a stop in Denver last night, but the Nuggets spoiled his goodbye.
Denver took this game 117-107, with D.J. Augustin putting up 26 points. He had 22 of those in the fourth quarter alone.
A half-dozen Nuggets were in double-figures here, Bryant’s final appearance in Denver. He fought through a sore shoulder to make an appearance.
Clippers-Thunder: Down by 22 at one point, things looked bleak for the Clippers last night in Los Angeles.
The home team fought back for a 103-98 win, however, ending the game on a 26-5 run. OKC had just one field goal during that span.
Chris Paul posted 21 points and 13 assists for the Clippers, while DeAndre Jordan had 20 points and 18 rebounds.
