NBA Player Updates 3/4: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
March 4, 2016
We’ve got a nice 10-game set coming our way in the NBA tonight, so there will be plenty to keep us occupied. In the meantime, let’s visit with some of the key players and stats in the news right now.
Heat-Suns: Down in Miami, the Suns fell to the home team Heat last night by a score of 108-92.
Dwyane Wade was on his game, scoring 27 points. Goran Dragic would add 25 as the Heat never trailed in the game. Their lead ballooned to as many as 21 at one point in the first half.
Devin Booker was one bright spot for Phoenix. He scored 34 points, 15 of which came in the fourth quarter alone.

Spurs-Pelicans: Kawhi Leonard was all over the place in New Orleans last night. He scored 30 points in a 94-86 victory, adding 11 rebounds and a clutch 3-pointer that basically sealed the game in the late stages.
Leonard was 12-of-22 overall and 6-of-10 from 3-point range. LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points and Danny Green had 11 of his own.
Kings-Mavericks: The Kings went into last night with a 22-game regular-season losing streak in Dallas, but were able to turn the tide and stop that trend. Rajon Rondo (himself a former Maverick) posted 18 points and 12 assists in a 104-101 victory, while DeMarcus Cousins posted a double-double as well with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
On the other side, Chandler Parsons put up 28 to lead his team, but the Mavs still saw their three-game win streak snapped.
Warriors-Thunder: NBA fans were treated to a little history in last night’s marquis matchup between the Warriors and the Thunder. Stephen Curry logged 33 points in his return to the floor (ankle), and Golden State tied the league record with their 44th straight win at home in a 121-106 result.
The Warriors are now 55-5 and continue their quest to break the Bulls’ single-season win mark, set back in 1995-96 with 72.
