The Toronto Raptors play host to the Portland Trailblazers tonight at the Air Canada Center.
With 14 wins in their last 17 games, the Trailblazers have quietly been one of the best teams in the league lately, but they are coming off a rare loss, falling at Boston on Wednesday by 116-93. Damian Lillard scored 20 points, CJ McCollum added 17 points while Allen Crabbe had 10 points off the bench but no other player finished in double figures as the Blazers jumped out to an early 12-point lead before getting run over by the Celtics by 30-12 in the third quarter. It was a rare poor outing for the Blazers who drop to 33-29 on the season which puts them half a game behind the Mavericks in seventh place in the Western Conference.

Meanwhile, the Raptors have won five of their last six games and 11 straight at home after beating the Jazz by 104-94 on Wednesday. Kyle Lowry had a monster game of 32 points on 13 of 20 shooting while DeMar DeRozan was right behind him with 31 points on 11 of 15 shooting as the Raptors moved back to within two games of the Cavaliers with an overall record of 40-19 on the season and they'll have plenty of chances to move even closer to that coveted top seed in the Eastern Conference as they play their next six games at home.
In ATS trends, the Blazers are 5-0 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 6-1 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Raptors are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Blazers are 10-3 ATS in the last 13 meetings overall and 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings in Toronto.
This is sure to be a great game as both teams are coming into this game in great form and with plenty to play for. If this game was at the Moda Center, I'd be all over the Blazers to bounce back from their latest loss but there's just no backing against the Raptors at the Air Canada Center.
