The Dallas Mavericks travel to the Pepsi Center to take on the Denver Nuggets today.
The Mavericks have won four of their last six games but will be looking to bounce back after having their three-game win streak snapped by the Kings in a 104-101 loss on Thursday. Chandler Parsons led the scoring with 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists, Dirk Nowitzki added 16 points while Deron Williams had 15 as the Mavs fell just short against the Kings. WIth the loss, Dallas drops to 33-29 on the season which is good enough for sixth place in the Western standings, but they'll need to stay on their toes as Portland trail them in seventh place by just half a game.

Meanwhile, the Nuggets have lost six of their last eight games and will still be hurting after losing to the Nets by 121-120 in overtime on Friday. Emmanuel Mudiay led the offense with 25 points and seven assists, Gary Harris added 21 points while Kenneth Faried had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds but it all counted for nothing as the Nets' Brook Lopez stole the game on a game-winning tip-in with just 0.4 seconds on the clock. With the loss, Denver drops to 24-38 on the season leaving them at 11th place in the Western Conference.
In ATS trends, the Mavs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Nuggets are 9-3 A TS in their last 12 games against a team with a winning record and 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.
Head to head, the Mavs are 3-0-1 ATS in the last four meetings and 7-2 ATS in the last nine meetings in Denver.
The Mavs have started to really string some wins together despite still playing a little below their best, but I'm backing them to come into the Pepsi Center and leave with a win today with the playoffs coming soon.
