The Indiana Pacers travel to the American Airlines Center to take on the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
The Pacers have won three of their last four games and will be gunning for a third straight win after taking down the Spurs by 99-91 on Monday. Monta Ellis led the charge with a game-high 26 points on eight of 13 shooting while Paul George added 23 points as the Pacers took control of the game early to lead by double digits and cruise to one of their best victories of the season. With the win, Indiana improves to 34-30 on the season overall which is good enough for seventh place in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks are in danger of losing a fifth straight game on Saturday after falling to the Pistons by 102-96 on Wednesday. Dirk Nowitzki and Chandler Parsons led the Mavs with 25 points each while Zaza Pachulia and Wesley Matthews chipped in with 10 points each, but in a tightly contested game, it was the Pistons who would go on a decisive 12-2 run in the fourth quarter to pull away with the victory. With the loss, Dallas drops from sixth to seventh place in the Western Conference standings with a record of 33-32 overall and just one more loss could drop them to eighth place
In ATS trends, the Pacers are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 5-2 ATS in their last seven road games, while the Mavs are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the Pacers are 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings and 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Dallas.
The Pacers are clearly the team in better form, but the Mavs really need this win to stop the rot and get out of the funk they've been in lately. Personally, this is a game I'd rather stay away from, but if I had to choose, I'd take the Mavs at home.
