NBA Player Updates 3/12: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More

The NBA is back with 10 more games today, so there will be plenty to keep us basketball fans occupied in the coming hours. Let’s take a moment to check out today’s key stats before we get settled in.
Sixers-Nets: Anytime the Sixers win a game these days, it’s front-page news. They got one against the lowly Nets last night in Philly, edging Brooklyn 95-89.
Nerlens Noel put up 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Carl Landry had 16 points of his own. Ish Smith had 10 points and nine assists with seven rebounds.
The victory broke a 13-game losing streak for Philly, who sit at 9-56 on the year.

Rockets-Celtics: Speaking of streaks being broken in last night’s NBA games, the Rockets got a win over the red-hot Celtics last night in Boston, 102-98.
James Harden put up 32 points here--and had the team’s final eight of the evening. Michael Beasley had 18 points with eight rebounds, while Dwight Howard doubled up on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
The win ended Boston’s home win streak of 14 games.
Heat-Bulls: Up in Chicago at United Center, the Heat took care of the Bulls 118-96. Goran Dragic was great here, scoring a season-high 26 points. Josh Richardson also chipped in with a career-high 22 points. Luol Deng had 19 points.
The Heat took it down the stretch, outscoring the Bulls 34-15 in the fourth quarter.
On the other side, Pau Gasol had 17 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists for the Bulls.
Grizzlies-Pelicans: Lance Stephenson was on fire last night for the Grizzlies, scoring a career-high 33 points in a 121-114 overtime win over the Pelicans in Memphis.
Matt Barnes also hit a milestone, recording the first triple-double of his career with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. JaMychal Green put up a career-high 21 points with 10 rebounds.
Jrue Holiday had 34 points and 10 assists to lead the Pelicans. Anthony Davis had 25 points and 13 rebounds.
