After a whopping 20 games in two days, the NBA is taking it a little easier with today’s schedule. That said, there’s plenty to check out in the coming hours, so let’s visit with our daily game notes and headlines while we’re waiting.

Pacers-Mavericks: Monta Ellis made his return to Dallas yesterday against the Mavericks, and helped the Pacers to a 112-105 victory. He scored 17 points in this one, while Paul George led the way with 20--18 of those coming in the second half.
Dirk Nowitzki was his usual dominant self with 30 points, scoring 15 of those in the fourth quarter alone.
Dallas is now 33-33, dropping their record to .500 for the first time since mid-November.

Hornets-Rockets: The Hornets are on a roll right now, and have now won seven straight after a 125-109 victory over the Rockets in Charlotte.
Kemba Walker posted 26 points--17 of those coming in the second half--and the team opened the fourth quarter with a 17-2 run to pull away for good.
The Hornets have now won 13 of their last 15 games overall, and are a half-game behind the Heat for the No. 4 slot in the East.

Warriors-Suns: The Warriors bagged yet another victory last night, this one over the visiting Suns.
Stephen Curry got some rest after a fourth foul in the third quarter, and came back to post 15 of his 35 points in the final frame. The result was a 123-116 victory for the defending champs. He logged seven 3-pointers overall, while Marreese Speights had 25 ( a season-high) with nine rebounds off the bench.
Golden State is now 59-6.

Spurs-Thunder: The Spurs are making some noise out west as well, even though everyone is talking about the Warriors. San Antonio won their 41st in a row yesterday against the Thunder 93-85, which is the third-longest streak in the history of the league.
Kawhi Leonard put up 26 points here, while veteran Tim Duncan put up 11 points. The team is now up 12 games on OKC.
