NBA Player Updates 3/20: The Latest News from Around the League, Tonight's TV Schedule and More
March 20, 2016
There are six games in the NBA tonight, and we’ve got some nice matchups mixed in there. While we’re waiting on tip-offs, let’s check out some of the daily headlines in this morning’s wrap-up.
Nuggets-Hornets: This was D.J. Augustin’s game, and he played well against this former team on the road last night.
Augustin put up 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting, helping Denver overcome a three-game losing streak on the road. He’s scored at least 17 points seven times after the 2012 season when he left.
This was just Charlotte’s third home loss in the last 15 games.

Thunder-Pacers: Russell Westbrook posted yet another triple-double last night in Indianapolis. This one was his 14th so far, and he leads the league.
The result was a 115-111 victory over the Pacers. He had 14 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists. Kevin Durant was also good here, posting 33 points and 13 rebounds.
Paul George had a great game in the loss, going 14-of-19 from the field with seven rebounds.
Wizards-Knicks: The Knicks were up by 18 points in the second quarter last night in Washington, and it looked like they might score a rare win.
The Wizards overcame that deficit, however, leading to a 99-89 victory on their home court. John Wall put up 24 points and 10 assists here, while Marcin Gortat had 15 points with 11 rebounds. Markeiff Morris put up 17, and all five of the Wizards starters logged double-digit scoring.
Warriors-Spurs: We’d be remiss if we didn’t visit with the marquis matchup of the evening--and maybe the season--in San Antonio last night.
The Spurs won this round against the Warriors 87-79. They’ve beaten Golden State 33 straight times in the regular season and are perfect at AT&T center.
LaMarcus Aldridge led the way with 26 points and 13 rebounds, helping hold the defending champs to a season-low points total.
