The Boston Celtics travel to the Talking Stick Resort Arena to take on the Phoenix Suns on Saturday.
The Celtics will be looking to build on their current three-game win streak after taking down the Raptors in a 91-79 win on Wednesday. Isaiah Thomas led the scoring with 23 points, Evan Turner added 17 points with seven assists while Avery Bradley had 16 points, but what impressed me was the defense as the Celtics held the Raptors to just 34.8 percent shooting from the field. Boston fans must have been worried when the Celtics lost four straight, but they've bounced back with three straight wins and are starting to look really good heading into the playoffs. Boston is now 42-30 on the season, good for fourth place in the Eastern Conference.

Meanwhile, the Suns are supposed to be tanking their way towards the upcoming NBA lottery, but they've actually been playing some pretty good basketball lately and they've been good enough to win six of their last 13 games. Devin Booker is averaging 21.9 points and 5.2 assists during the month of March, while Brandon Knight is averaging 17.9 points and 5.4 assists per game which is why the Suns are giving the lesser teams in the league plenty of trouble as the regular season winds down.
In ATS trends, the Celtics are 8-1 ATS in their last nine road games against a team with a losing home record and 1-4 ATS in their last five road games overall, while the Suns are 1-7 ATS in their last eight against the NBA Atlantic and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 Saturday games.
Head to head, the road team is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings and the favorite is 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings.
The Suns have been a pretty dangerous team to play lately, but the Celtics need this win too much and should be more than good enough to pull away in the second half and finish with a double digit win on the road. Take Boston to win this one comfortably and continue their climb up the rankings.
