The Los Angeles Clippers travel to the Target Center to take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
The Clippers have lost seven of their last 13, but they were able to turn things around and now they're gunning for a fourth straight win following Monday's 114-90 win over the Celtics. Chris Paul steered the offense with 13 points and 14 assists while DeAndre Jordan had a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds as the Clippers poured in 67 points in the first half to set up the massive win against a tough Celtics team. With the win, Los Angeles remains in fourth place in the Western Conference, with a record of 46-27 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves have been playing some of their best basketball lately, resulting in three wins in their last four games, including a 121-116 win over the Suns on Monday. Andrew Wiggins led the charge with 32 points (17-21 FT), Karl-Anthony Towns added 27 points, 10 rebounds and five assists while Ricky Rubio had 17 points with 11 assists as the Wolves dominated most of the game before holding off a late rally from the Suns. Despite the win, Minnesota are still only 25-49 on the season which has them right near the bottom of the standings.
In ATS trends, the Clippers are 3-8 ATS in their last 1 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, while the Wolves are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games overall and 13-3 ATS in their last 16 games against a team with a winning record.
Head to head, the Clippers are 8-1-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings in Minnesota but just 1-3-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall.
The Timberwolves are really starting to play some good basketball but I can't back them against a Clippers outfit looking to build momentum going into the playoffs. Add to that the fact that the Clippers are 8-1-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings and it's an easy pick in favor of LA for me.
