The Memphis Grizzlies and the Dallas Mavericks do battle at the American Airlines Center on Friday.
The Grizzlies have been in a major slump lately as they've lost 10 of their last 13 games, but they'll be breathing a sigh of relief after snapping a six-game losing streak with a 108-92 win over the Bulls on Tuesday. Zach Randolph led from the front with 27 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Vince Carter added 17 points off the bench while Matt Barnes had 16 as the Grizzlies took full advantage of a struggling Bulls outfit. With the easy win, Memphis improves to 42-36 on the season which is good for fifth place in the Western Conference standings but given their recent form, they could drop to sixth place by the end of the regular season as Portland are right behind them.

Meanwhile, the Mavericks will be looking to extend on their current five-game win streak after taking down the Rockets in a 88-86 thriller on Wednesday. JJ Barea was fantasic for the Mavs, leading the way with 27 points and eight assists, while Wesley Matthews added 16 points, but while Dirk Nowitzki scored just seven points, he was instrumental in the team's win as he stripped the Rockets' James Harden on a potential game-winning layup attempt to give the Mavs the crucial win. With the win, Dallas improves to 40-38 on the season which is good for seventh place in the Western standings.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 8-0 ATS in their last eight Friday games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games against a team with a winning record, while the Mavs are 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall and 2-6 ATS in their last eight home games.
Head to head, the over is 9-2-1 in the last 12 meetings and the over is 4-1-2 in the last seven meetings in Dallas.
The Grizzlies looked really good in their last outing, but the Mavs look to be playing some of their best basketball of the season so I'm backing them to stay hot and win again at home where they've won three straight.
