The Sacramento Kings invade the Toyota Center to battle the Houston Rockets tonight.
The Kings have won six of their last 10 games and they'll be gunning for a third straight win tonight after beating the Suns by 105-101 on Monday. Darren Collison, DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo were all rested for this game which allowed other players to play the extra minutes and Seth Curry took full advantage of the opportunity, leading the team with 20 points and 15 assists in 38 minutes. Kosta Koufos also had a solid game of 19 points with eight rebounds while Rudy Gay chipped in with 15 points as the Kings held off a late rally from the Suns to improve to 33-48 on the season.

Meanwhile, the Rockets have won four fo their last seven games and they'll be desperate to cap off the regular season with a third straight win after making light work of the Timberwolves in a 129-105 win on Monday. James Harden led from the front with a game-high 34 points with six assists, Trevor Ariza added 21 points while Dwight Howard had 19 as the Rockets jumped out to an early double-digit lead and never took their foot off the gas until late in the fourth quarter. With the win, Houston clings onto the eighth spot in the Western Conference with an identical record to ninth-placed Utah, so a loss tonight could see them miss the playoffs.
In ATS trends, the Kings are 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight road games and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall, while the Rockets are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games against a team with a losing road record and 1-6 ATS in their last seven games following a win.
Head to head, the Kings are 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall and 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings in Houston.
The Kings are surprisingly playing some of their best basketball of the season despite resting most of their key players, so while I have the Rockets winning this game by double digits, I'm actually taking the Kings with the hefty points start in this one.
