The Charlotte Hornets are in a must-win spot in order to have any chance of making this a series. The Charlotte Hornets are averaging 97 points on 42.9 percent shooting and allowing 119 points on 57.8 percent shooting. Kemba Walker is averaging 24 points and two assists while Al Jefferson is averaging 19 points and six rebounds. Jeremy Lin is dishing 1.5 assists and Marvin Williams is grabbing 4.5 rebounds. The Charlotte Hornets are shooting 21.2 percent from beyond the arc and 78.6 percent from the free throw line. The Hornets are allowing 52.9 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 33.5 rebounds per game. The Charlotte Hornets have won four straight home games. Nicolas Batum is doubtful with an ankle injury.
There's no reason to think the Hornets can win this game considering they've been flat out torched by the Heat in the first two games. We're talking about 57.8 percent shooting from the field and 52.9 percent from deep. To make matters worse for Charlotte, it's likely going to be without its second best scorer in Batum.
The Heat should win this game, but the free three points makes the deal even sweeter.
