The Line: Indiana Fever -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Dallas Wings and Indiana Fever meet Sunday afternoon for a preseason game at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
The Dallas Wings enter their first season since leaving from Tulsa and return pretty much their entire roster from last season that kind of underachieved. The Wings are an extremely young team with just two players who have been in the league for longer than two seasons. However, a trio of Odyssey Sims, Skylar Diggins and Plenette Pierson is certainly nothing to play with and makes Dallas a serious sleeper this season in the Western Conference. The health of Diggins will be the key this season, as she played just nine games due to injury. The Dallas Wings are going to be a team to keep an eye on this season, as there’s a lot of talent on this young roster.

The Indiana Fever return all of their key players from their team last season that made the WNBA Finals. Led by veteran Tamika Catchings and Shenise Johnson, the Fever have a balanced roster that can hurt opponents inside and outside. The Fever had three players last season that scored over 300 points, which includes one of the better three-point shooters in the WNBA in Marissa Coleman. Stephanie White and her coaching staff have to be very pleased with what Indiana is working with this season and a 12th straight playoff appearance should be in the cards for the Fever. The Indiana Fever may once again be the team to beat in the Eastern Conference this season.
This should be a pretty fun preseason game, as the young Wings are going to be eager to prove themselves after a season full of ups and downs. The Fever are going to want to keep their edge after making the championship game last season. At home, I expect Indiana's veterans to step up and win this game. The Fever need to set the tone in the preseason if this year is going to be as successful as last season.
No line yet, but I like the Fever by at least five points.
