SAP Center and the Golden State Warriors host the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night.
The Golden State Warriors appeared to be in midseason form in a 120-75 rout of the visiting Los Angeles Clippers. There isn’t much to be said about this one with Warriors holding Los Angeles to a mere 32.5% from the floor while burning the nets at over 51% while nailing 15-29 from beyond the arc. The GSW also held a +12 on the backboards as they looked like a team trying to get going in the preseason and the opposite was true for Golden State. The Warriors received a game high 30 points from Klay Thompson on 10-14 which included six bombs while newcomer Kevin Durant netted 21 points, grabbed seven boards and handed out seven assists. Stephen Curry played third fiddle for the GSW with 14 points as the team basically went with their starters.

The Sacramento Kings were the poster child for not betting NBA preseason games in a 103-84 loss to the Lakers. The Kings held a 52-39 lead at the half and then were somehow outscored 39-15 in the 4th which was probably the most embarrassing performances I have seen in the NBA or any sport for that matter. For the game the Kings were outshot 46%-36%, outrebounded 52-38 with both teams turning the ball over 20 times apiece in this thing of beauty. Aaron Affalo paced two Sacramento players with double digit scoring with 14 points and five pulls with DeMarcus Cousins adding eleven points and another six pulls. The Kings went from playing well to poorly in the second half as they stayed with players regardless of their effectiveness.
The Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest and the Warriors are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 Thursday games while the under is 5-1 in Warriors last 6 games playing on 1 days rest. The Kings are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 games following a double-digit loss at home and the over is 6-1 in Kings last 7 games following a straight up loss of more than 10 points while the under is 4-1 in Kings last 5 overall. The Warriors are 9-1 ATS in the last 10 meetings and the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Sacramento while the Warriors are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Sacramento.
The Warriors don’t have to change a thing from their win versus the Clippers and I’m not sure the Kings are just throwing guys on the court and seeing what they have. No line out so please check back…
