The Los Angeles Sparks also have a chance to move one game within a WNBA title. The Los Angeles Sparks are averaging 82.8 points on 48.3 percent shooting and allowing 76 points on 43.2 percent shooting. Nneka Ogwumike is averaging 19.5 points and 9.2 rebounds while Candace Parker is averaging 18 points and four assists. Kristi Toliver is the third double-digit scorer and Jantel Lavender is grabbing 2.7 rebounds. The Los Angeles Sparks are shooting 36.3 percent from beyond the arc and 79.4 percent from the free throw line. The Sparks are allowing 29.6 percent shooting from deep and are grabbing 31.6 rebounds per game. The Los Angeles Sparks have won 10 of their last 12 home games.
The Lynx are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 2 days rest and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Sparks are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 vs. Western Conference and 21-44-1 ATS in their last 66 home games. The Lynx are 6-2 ATS in the last 8 meetings in Los Angeles and the under is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.
I continue to say that the Minnesota Lynx are the better team here and continue to back them. While the Sparks are a talented team as well and stole a game on the road, they won by two points with the Lynx playing sloppy. When the Lynx needed a win, they blew the Sparks off the court. Not only that, but the road team has won four of the last five meetings between the Lynx and the Sparks. The Sparks have lost three home games all year and two of those games were to the Lynx. The Minnesota Lynx have been here many times, so playing on the road won't bother them much.
I'll gladly take the better team and the free bucket.
