The Amway Center is the site of NBA preseason basketball between the Orlando Magic and Atlanta Hawks.
The Atlanta Hawks will be looking to get back in the win column following a 99-94 defeat at the hands of the visiting Detroit Pistons on Thursday. The Hawks opened the game with a 14 point lead in the first period but the Pistons controlled the contest the rest of the way. Dennis Schroder led Atlanta with 17 points and nine helpers on 5-9 shooting with Dwight Howard going 7-11 for 15 points while grabbing nine rebounds. Malcolm Delaney gave the Hawks 13 points and Kent Bazemore and Kyle Korver netted 12 and ten points.

The Orlando Magic picked up a 114-106 decision versus the visiting Indiana Pacers as a 3.5 point home dog on Friday that featured double digit point swings from period to period with Orlando winning the 4th period by a 30-19 count. The Magic sank shots at an impressive 50.6% and were 12-24 on threes but were sloppy with the ball with 25 turnovers. The magic held Indiana to 46.6% shooting and owned a +13 on the backboards but miscues gave the Pacers enough extra shots to be in position to win. Serge Ibaka gave the Magic 19 points and a game high 19 rebounds with Jeff Green and Nikola Vucevic adding 16 and 15 points. CJ Wilcox tossed in 12 points while Damjan Rudez and Elfrid Payton rounded out the Orlando scoring with eleven points apiece.
