The Washington Wizards and Cleveland Cavaliers play a NBA preseason game Tuesday night at the Value City Arena on NBATV.
The Washington Wizards are 2-3 in preseason play and will enjoy their last road game of exhibition play. The in the Wizards loss to the Sacramento Kings, Washington shot 48.5 percent from the field and turned the ball over 16 times. John Wall has 28 points and 14 assists in three preseason games while Kelly Oubre Jr. has topped double-digit points four times. Marcin Gortat has grabbed 22 rebounds in four games and Marcus Thornton is coming off a 13-point performance. The Washington Wizards continue their hit and miss play but now need to come together more than ever with the injury to center Ian Mahinmi that will keep him out at least a month. The Wizards will still go as far as Wall and Bradley Beal lead the way.

The Cleveland Cavaliers hope to snap a three-game losing streak and play their final preseason game. The Cavaliers loss to the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland shot 44.3 percent from the field and made 10 threes. LeBron James has played just 30 minutes of preseason action and Kyrie Irving has seen 41 minutes of play in two games. Jordan McRae has scored 12 or more points in four of five games while John Holland has 29 points and three assists in 44 minutes. The Cleveland Cavaliers are just itching for the regular season to begin and haven’t bothered playing their starters much at all. Coach Tyronn Lue has to be pretty confident his defending champion Cavs are ready to go based on the lack of playing time the rotation guys are getting.
The Wizards are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and the over is 5-1 in Wizards last 6 overall. The Cavaliers are 8-1 ATS in their last 9 home games. The Wizards are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the under is 13-6 in the last 19 meetings.
You have to think the Cleveland Cavaliers are finally going to give their starters some minutes in this game and that's enough to take care of the Washington Wizardss, who haven't impressed me at all in preseason play. The Cavs should be able to win this game and snap their three-game preseason losing streak.
