The Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers conclude their NBA basketball preseason on Friday.
The Phoenix Suns would like to end the NBA basketball preseason with another win when they take the hardwood with the Lakers Friday. The Suns come off a 112-107 victory against visiting Dallas where each team traded baskets for 48 minutes. The shooting wasn’t great with the Mavericks leading 43%-40% but the Suns forced more turnovers and had more looks including hitting eight more threes. Eric Bledsoe and Marquese Chriss led Phoenix with 17 points each and Tyler Ullis scored 16. Jared Dudley gave the Suns 15 and T:J Warren 13 while Dragan Bander and Brandon Knight tossed in eleven points apiece in a very balanced attack.

The Los Angeles Lakers play their final NBA basketball preseason bout Friday and if they hope to win they need better defense then what was played in a 123-112 loss to visiting Golden State where the Warriors were up 13 after 12 minutes and were never in danger. Both teams hit their shots at around 47%-48% but Golden State sank ten more free throws. Brandon Ingram led the Lakers offense with 21 points and seven boards on 7-10 with Nick Young right on his heels with 19 points. D’Angelo Russell gave Los Angeles 16 points and nine assists with Julius Randle adding 12 while Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr. combined for 21 points.
The over is 4-0 in Suns last 4 games playing on 3 or more days rest and the under is 5-1 in Suns last 6 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game while the under is 4-1 in Suns last 5 games following a straight up win. The Lakers are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 Friday games and the Lakers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 home games while the Lakers are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games following a double-digit loss at home. The Suns are 6-1-1 ATS in the last 8 meetings and the over is 5-2-1 in the last 8 meetings.
I'm just going with the Suns but that is assuming someone of note plays in the final preseason game.
