The Portland Trail Blazers and Golden State Warriors end the preseason Friday night at the ORACLE Arena on NBATV.
The Portland Trail Blazers are 4-2 in the preseason and are coming off a Wednesday win over the Utah Jazz. In the victory, the Trail Blazers shot 46.2 percent from the field and made 10 threes. Damian Lillard is shooting 48.5 percent from the field in his last five games while C.J. McCollum has racked up a combined 51 points in his last three games. Maurice Harkless is shooting 45.8 percent from the field in his last five games and Mason Plumlee has 18 points and 16 rebounds in his last two games. The Portland Trail Blazers is a team I watched closely last season and will be a team I’ll back often again this season. With the Trail Blazers ability to shoot a high percentage and the depth they have, Portland is certainly a dark horse in the Western Conference.

The Golden State Warriors have won their last five preseason games and look to be in regular season form. In a Wednesday win over the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors shot 47.8 percent from the field and made 11 of 33 threes. Draymond Green is coming off his first double-digit scoring performance while Kevin Durant is shooting 59.7 percent from the field in his last five games. Stephen Curry has made 10 threes in his last three games and Klay Thompson is shooting 59 percent from the field in his last five games. The Golden State Warriors have scored no less than 112 points in their last three games and are starting to look like that scary squad most expected. If the Warriors key players are going to continue shooting damn near 60 percent from the field, the rest of the NBA can just pack up and go home.
The over is 5-0 in Trail Blazers last 5 Friday games and 6-1 in Trail Blazers last 7 overall. The Warriors are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games playing on 1 days rest and the under is 4-0-1 in Warriors last 5 home games. The Trail Blazers are 8-23 ATS in the last 31 meetings in Golden State and the over is 16-5 in the last 21 meetings.
The Golden State Warriors are starting to find their groove and are simply toying with teams even in the preseason, as they're knocking down long threes and making crazy passes to entertain the crowd. The Trail Blazers have the talent to compete but it's tough to bet against Golden State right now in its current form.
