The San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings collide tonight at the Golden 1 Center.
With all the talk of the offseason being about Kevin Durant's move to Golden State, the Spurs have flown under the radar coming into the season but they made sure the league took notice by crushing the Warriors by 129-100 on the road on Tuesday. Kawhi Leonard dominated the game with 35 points with five steals while playing great defense on Stephen Curry, LaMarcus Aldridge added 26 points with 14 rebounds while Jonathon Simmons chipped in with 20 points off the bench as the Spurs delivered the Warriors their worst loss since 2009.

Meanwhile, the Kings also kicked off their season with a win, beating the Suns by 113-94 last night behind 24 points from DeMarcus Cousins, 22 points from Rudy Gay and 14 points from Matt Barnes. As a team, the Kings shot 51.2 percent from the field and really had their way with the Suns, leading by as many as 26 points before they took their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter.
In ATS trends, the Spurs are 0-4 ATS in their last four games playing on one days rest and 3-13 ATS in their last 16 Thursday games, while the Kings are 4-1 ATS in their last five games playing on zero days rest and 5-2 ATS in their last seven home games.
Head to head, the Spurs are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings overall and 9-2 ATS in the last 11 meetings in Sacramento.
The Kings were able to cruise past the Suns despite Cousins playing just 25 minutes but they'll be facing a much stiffer test against the Spurs and I can't see them winning this one. Take the Spurs to back up their impressive performance on opening night with another double-digit win tonight.
