The Detroit Pistons invade the Barclays Center to take on the Brooklyn Nets tonight.
The Pistons will be looking to build on their three-game win streak following their 102-89 victory over the Knicks last night. Tobias Harris led the team with a game-high 25 points, Marcus Morris added 22 points and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope chipped in with 19 points as the Pistons continue to win without their starting point guard in Reggie Jackson. As a team, the Pistons shot a healthy 55 percent from the field as a team while holding the Knicks to just 10 points in the fourth quarter to round out a pretty solid overall performance. Detroit is now 3-1 on the season and a perfect 3-0 at home.

Meanwhile, the Nets have lost three of their first four games of the season and are suddenly in danger of losing a third straight after getting blown out by the Bulls in a 118-88 rout on Monday night. Bojan Bogdanovic led the team with 15 points, Jeremy Lin added 14 points while Brook Lopez and Sean Kilpatrick finished with 13 points each, but the Nets started the game ice-cold and found themselves in running uphill for the entire game after falling behind by 38-20 after the first quarter. As a team, the Nets shot a season-worst 34.4 percent from the field and five of 31 from the 3-point line.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games playing on zero days rest and 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team with a losing record, while the Nets are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 against the Eastern Conference and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the Pistons are 0-4 ATS in the last four meetings in Brooklyn and 2-6 ATS in the last eight meetings overall.
The Nets will be eager to atone for their embarrassing loss on Monday night, but I don't think they'll be able to get that done against this Pistons side who've been playing well in their last three outings. I was looking for an upset in this one, but the bookies just aren't giving me enough points, so I'm sticking with team who has clearly been playing better basketball to start the season.
