The New Orleans Pelicans and the Memphis Grizzlies do battle tonight at the FedExForum.
The Pelicans are four games into the season and still without a win following last night's 117-113 home loss to the Bucks. Anthony Davis poured in 35 points with 15 rebounds, two assists, three steals and three blocks, Tim Frazier added 20 points with nine assists while Solomon Hill chipped in with 18 points, but it still wasn't enough to get past the Bucks who targetted the interior of the Pelicans' defense, leading to a 58-38 scoring edge in the paint. With the loss, New Orleans drops to 0-4 on the season and 0-3 at home.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies won two of their first three games to start the season before getting crushed by the Timberwolves in a 116-80 rout last night. Deyonta Davis led the team in scoring with 17 points on seven of eight shooting off the bench while Troy Williams added 14 points but this game was over before it really began as the Grizzlies fell behind by 29-16 after the first quarter and 62-36 going into halftime. To be fair, the Grizzlies weren't playing anywhere near full strength as coach David Fizdale actually decided to rest Mike Conley and Marc Gasol as it was the first game of a back to back series.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 1-4 ATS in their last five against the Western Conference and 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall, while the Grizzlies are 23-9 ATS in their last 32 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games playing on zero days rest.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 1-4 ATS in the last five meetings and the under is 6-2 in the last eight meetings in Memphis.
The Pelicans really don't want to make it five straight losses to start the season, but they're coming up against a in-form Grizzlies team who rested their key starters last night. Take the Grizzlies to improve to 3-0 at home this season against a shorthanded Pelicans team still struggling for consistency.
