The New Orleans Pelicans travel to the Golden 1 Center to take on the Sacramento Kings tonight.
The Pelicans will be desperate to get their first win of the season after losing their first seven straight. Anthony Davis has been on a tear and proved it once again with 33 points and 13 rebounds in last night's 116-106 loss at Golden State, but while the Pelicans did a great job of competing with the Warriors in their own building, it just never looked like they were going to get over the hump as Stephen Curry lit up the scoreboard with a NBA-record 13 three-pointers. E'Twaun Moore had a decent game of 15 points while Tim Frazier chipped in with 13 points and 10 assists.

Meanwhile, the Kings were able to put a halt to a four-game skid with an impressive 96-91 win at Toronto on Sunday night. DeMarcus Cousins had a strong outing with 22 points, 14 rebounds, four assists and three blocks while Rudy Gay led the scoring with 23 points as the Kings took over in the second half and outscored the Raptors by 52-41 to pull out the victory and improve to 3-5 on the season and 2-4 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Pelicans are 1-4 ATS in their last five road games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games overall.
Head to head, the Pelicans are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings and 6-16-1 ATS in the last 23 meetings in Sacramento.
While the Pelicans are still winless after seven games, only two of those losses have come by double digits so they're not that far off. Having said that, the Kings were able to snap a four-game skid with a solid road win over the Raptors, so I'm sticking with the Kings to make it two in a row at home tonight.
