The Detroit Pistons and the Phoenix Suns do battle tonight at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.
The Pistons have lost two of their last three games and will be looking to bounce back after getting demolished by 114-82 in a loss to the Clippers on Monday. Andre Drummond led the team with 15 points and 13 rebounds but it was a pretty miserable night for the rest of the team as the Pistons fell behind by 33-15 after the first quarter and 62-32 going into the halftime break. With the loss, Detroit falls to 4-3 on the season and 0-3 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Suns will be looking to avoid a third straight loss after falling to the Trailblazers in a 124-121 shootout last night. Eric Bledsoe led the way with a season-best 31 points on nine of 13 shooting, Devin Booker chipped in with 23 points while four reserve players finished in double figures in scoring but it still wasn't enough to get past the Trailblazers who were led by 38 points from Damian Lillard. Defensively, the Suns allowed the Blazers to shoot a healthy 55 percent fromt he field, but to be fair, the Suns were without their defensive anchor in Tyson Chandler who missed the game because of personal reasons.
In ATS trends, the Pistons are 4-1 ATS in their last five games against a team below .400 and 0-4 ATS in their last four road games, while the Suns are 6-1 ATS in their last seven games against a team with a winning record and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games against the NBA Central.
Head to head, the Pistons are 20-8 ATS in the last 28 meetings overall and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Phoenix.
The Pistons are still winless on the road but will see this matchup as a real chance to break that drought, so I'm backing them to bounce back from Monday's loss to the Clippers and earn their first win on the road against a Suns team playing the second night of a back to back set.
