The Brooklyn Nets travel to the Talking Stick Resort Arena to take on the Phoenix Suns tonight.
The Nets haven't exactly been lighting the world on fire as their record sits at just 3-5, but just when it looked like they were gaining a little momentum with two wins in three games, they fall back to earth with a 110-96 blowout loss against the Knicks on Wednesday. Brook Lopez was a chance of sitting out the game but decided to suit up and lead the team with 21 points, but the Nets' offense dried up in the second half where they were outscored by the Knicks by 60-41. Once again, the Nets were without Jeremy Lin which really hurt their offense and they just didn't have the speed to stick with the Knicks' second unit. With the loss, Brooklyn drops to 3-5 on the season and 0-3 on the road.

Meanwhile, the Suns have won three of their last five and were able to snap a two-game skid with a 107-100 win over the Pistons on Wednesday. Eric Bledsoe backed up his season-high 31 points on Tuesday with a near triple-double of 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists, Jared Dudley added 19 points off the bench while TJ Warren chipped in with 18 points, but credit this win to the Suns' defense as they held the Pistons to just 36 percent shooting. With the impressive win, Phoenix improves to 3-6 on the season and 2-2 at home.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a loss and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games overall, while the Suns are 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 4-1 ATS in their last five games overall.
Head to head, the Nets are 7-3 ATS in the last 10 meetings overall and the Over is 6-0 in the last six meetings in Phoenix.
The Nets really didn't look good at all in the second half in Wednesday's loss to the Knicks, but fatigue may have been a factor as they had just played the night before, but I'm starting to like the Suns as Bledsoe has started to play more aggressively and it's driving the whole team. Go with the Suns to get the win and cover at home.
