The Memphis Grizzlies travel to the Staples Center to take on the red-hot Los Angeles Clippers tonight.
The Grizzlies have lost three of their last five but will be looking to build on Monday's 102-96 win at Utah. Marc Gasol led the way with 22 points, Vince Carter added 20 points off the bench while Mike Conley and Zach Randolph added 18 points each as the Grizzlies improved to .500 on the season with record of 5-5 on the season and 1-3 on the road. Defensively, the Grizzlies were dominant on the boards as they outrebounded the Jazz by 51-35 and that was crucial as the Grizzlies just couldn't put the Jazz away despite leading by double digits late.

Meanwhile, the Clippers have looked absolutely rock solid to start the season and they're now 9-1 on the season after crushing the Nets in a 127-95 blowout on Monday. Chris Paul steered the offense with 21 points and nine assists, Blake Griffin added 20 points while JJ Redick had 18 points as the Clippers jumped all over the Nets from the tipoff and led by 39-14 after the first quarter. With the game being decided before halftime, coach Rivers had the luxury of resting his starters early so nobody even played more than 26 minutes.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 road games, while the Clippers are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 home games and 20-8 ATS in their last 28 games overall.
Head to head, the Grizzlies are 12-4 ATS in the last 16 meetings overall and 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Los Angeles.
The Grizzlies and the Clippers match up well so it always seems to be a close contest between them, but there's no doubt that the Clippers have been on fire to start the season so I'm taking LA by double digits in this matchup.
