The Brooklyn Nets travel to the Chesapeake Energy Arena to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday night.
The Nets have lost three of their last four games and are in danger of losing a third straight after falling to the Lakers in a 125-118 defeat on Tuesday. Brook Lopez led the team with 30 points and 10 rebounds, Bojan Bogdanovic added 29 points while Trevor Booker and Yogi Ferrell chipped in with 11 points each as the Nets avoided a second blowout loss in as many nights after losing to the Clippers by 32 points on Monday night. Jeremy Lin has been dealing with a hamstring injury but while he will be re-evaluated on Friday morning, he is unlikely to be ready for Friday's game.

Meanwhile, the Thunder were able to snap a four-game skid on Wednesday by beating the Rockets by 105-103. Russell Westbrook poured in 30 points with seven rebounds and nine assists while Victor Oladipo added 29 points with 10 rebounds and five assists, but defense was key to the win as the Thunder held the Rockets to just 13 points in the fourth quarter after allowing 63 points in the first half. With the win, Oklahoma City improves to 7-5 overall and 5-3 at home where they had lost three straight before Wednesday.
In ATS trends, the Nets are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 4-11-1 ATS in their last 16 road games, while the Thunder are 1-4 ATS in their last five games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last six against the Eastern Conference.
Head to head, the Nets are 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings overall and 4-0 ATS in the last four meetings in Oklahoma City.
The Nets have been rock solid ATS despite their poor overall record, but this just seems like a bad matchup for them as the Thunder's backcourt of Oladipo and Westbrook is starting to look really good. I have the Nets hanging around as they always do, but the Thunder will pull away late and finish with the win and cover.
