The Boston Celtics and the Detroit Pistons duke it out tonight at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
The Celtics have won three of their last five overall but will be looking to bounce back after getting routed in a 104-83 home loss to the Warriors last night. Isaiah Thomas led the team with 18 points while Avery Bradley added 17 points with 10 rebounds, but there was just no stopping the star-studded Warriors, especially in the third quarter where the Celtics were outscored by 31-9. In fact, the Celtics were actually down by as many as 30 points in the fourth quarter before the reserves rallied late to keep the final score respectable. With the loss, Boston drops back to .500 with a record of 6-6 overall and 4-2 at home.

Meanwhile, the Pistons have lost five of their last seven overall and didn't look too impressive in last night's 104-81 loss at Cleveland. Jon Leuer led the team with 15 points off the bench but no other players finished in double figures in scoring as the Pistons shot a miserly 31.2 percent from the field. Right from the tipoff, tt just looked like the Pistons didn't want the win as much as the Cavs wanted it so the final result doesn't surprise me at all. With the loss, Detroit drops to 6-7 overall and 1-7 on the road where they've lost their last two.
In ATS trends, the Celtics are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 road games and 37-14-1 ATS in their last 52 games playing on zero days rest, while the Pistons are 11-2 ATS in their last 13 games playing on zero days rest and 37-17-2 ATS in their last 56 home games.
Head to head, the Favorite is 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings and the Over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings.
Both the Celtics and the Pistons will be looking to bounce back after losses last night, but while the Celtics are the team in better form coming into this game, the Pistons are a perfect 5-0 at home and I think they'll keep that streak alive for just a little while longer.
