The Memphis Grizzlies and the Charlotte Hornets do battle at the Spectrum Center on Monday night.
The Grizzlies have won five of their last six games and they'll be gunning for their fifth straight win after taking down the Timberwolves in a 93-71 rout on Saturday night. Jeff Green led the team in scoring with 19 points on six of nine shooting, Zach Randolph added 18 points while Mike Conley and Andrew Harrison chipped in with 13 points but you can credit this win to the defense as the Grizzlies held the Timberwolves to 39.1 percent shooting, outrebounded them by 57-42 while forcing them into 19 turnovers. In fact, the Grizzlies have held their last two opponents under 75 points and they've allowed an average of just 84.5 points over the last four games. With the win, Memphis improves to 8-5 overall and 5-2 at home.

Meanwhile, the Hornets were aiming for a third straight win on Saturday but instead lost to the Pelicans by 121-116 in overtime. Kemba Walker continued his fine form with 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists, Marco Belinelli added 22 points off the bench while Frank Kaminsky III had 15 points but the Hornets just couldn't hold onto an 11-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. There was just no stopping the Pelicans' Anthony Davis who poured in 38 points and scored 11 of the Pelicans' final 16 points. With the loss, Charlotte drops to 8-4 overall and 4-2 on the road.
In ATS trends, the Grizzlies are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall, 3-9 ATS in their last 12 road games and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games against a team with a winning record, while the Hornets are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four games following a loss, 4-1 ATS in their last five home games and 1-4-1 ATS in their last six games against a team above .600.
Head to head, the Under is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings overall and 6-1 in the last seven meetings in Charlotte.
The Hornets will be looking to atone for their overtime loss on Saturday, but the Grizzlies have won and covered the spread in each of their last four outings so that's where I'm leaning in this one.
